Cowboys cornerback Maurice Canady is the first Dallas player to take the voluntary Coronavirus opt-out for the season.
First reported by the NFL Network, Canady's Twitter feed apparently confirmed it with a Tweet saying "family first, money second. Stay safe."
In March, Canady inked a one-year deal with the Cowboys, good for nearly a million dollars.
However, taking the opt-out, he'll make $150,000 this year.
