DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A man wanted in connection with three different murder cases in north Texas between 1998 and 2003 is back behind bars in Dallas County.
Law enforcement officials say 42-year-old Jose Sifuentes had been on the run in Mexico but was extradited to north Texas this week.
Sifuentes was arrested in 2003 but posted bond and fled the country.
Investigators say DNA evidence later connected him to two other murders from 1998.
He was arrested in 2019 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico and returned to the US on Wednesday where he will face capital murder charges.
