
DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas health officials say 17 people at a homeless shelter have tested positive for the coronavirus, putting dozens more at risk.
Dr. Philip Huang, Director of Dallas County’s Health and Human Services Department, says many of the cases were asymptomatic. e says that puts as many as 200 staffers and shelter guests at risk.
Today, officials are beginning the process of isolating shelter guests in hotel rooms.
The name of the homeless shelter has not been released.
