A Dallas man is facing manslaughter and weapon charges for a crash that killed a Carrollton man last month.
Carrollton Investigators say 39 year old Luis Acosta was speeding when he crashed into an SUV carrying 67 year old Shamsuddin Jooma and his teenager son.
It happened 2 weeks ago at the intersection of West Rosemeade Parkway and Greenway Park Drive. Jooma was killed at the scene...his 17 yer old son was seriously hurt and is still recovering at Medical City Plano.
Acosta is being charged with manslaughter...aggravated assault and unlawful carrying of a wepon because a gun was found in his car after the crash.
