DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall is appealing for the city to get more masks, sanitizer and other protective goods for her officers during the Coronavirus scare.

Speaking to a rare Sunday meeting of the City Council, Chief Hall said they started out with a good supply of those items but they're going through them fast.

She says they've had a generous donation from Home Depot and some on the council are hoping other businesses will step up to meet the need.
