DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- Dallas police are investigating a shooting at an East Dallas apartment that left at least three people dead.

— Austin York (@realAustinYork) August 31, 2020Dallas Police said they were called to the Rosemont at Ash Creek apartments on John West Road near Buckner Boulevard and I-30 around 11 a.m. Monday.Officials say a man called 911 and said he had shot and killed his family.
When police arrived at the Rosemont Apartments on John West road, they found a woman in her 50s and two teens deceased. A gun was recovered at the residence along with several spent shells.
Police took the man into custody and are trying to figure out a motive.
