Construction on a new bridge will force the closure of several connector ramps between SH-121 and 635-LBJ this weekend. The work is part of the DFW Connector project.
"We are opening the second new bridge on the 635 SH-121 interchange project. It's the new south-bound SH-121 bridge to 635," said Alyssa Tenorio with NorthGate Constructors. There are a total of three bridges planned for the area. "This project started last year. It's expected to be complete in 2022," said Tenorio.

August 1, 2019 The south-bound off-ramp from SH-121 to 635 will be closed, along with the east bound on-ramp for 635 at Bass Pro Drive and the south-bound SH-121 and FM 2499 off-ramps to east-bound 635. All of those closures are scheduled to start at 8 o'clock Saturday night, August 3rd and run through 6 o'clock Monday morning, August 5th. Signs in the area will alert drivers to the detours.
