EL PASO (KRLD) - An 11-year-old boy is getting tons of attention on social media for his plea to do something good for someone after a man shot and killed 22 people at a Walmart in El Paso on Saturday.

The boy's mother tweeted out a picture of her son asking people to commit random acts of kindness to honor those killed in the massacre.

My 11 year old came to me with an idea. #elpasoCHALLENGE He challenges ALL El Pasoans to commit 20 Random Acts of Kindness. One for every person that was killed in our city's mass shooting. Let's get this done El Paso. @abc7breaking @kels1142 @YsletaISD @EPPOLICE @elpasoisd pic.twitter.com/pvy5Q9G4f6

It's called the #elpasochallenge and there's a picture of the boy along with a note he wrote where he has suggestions.

Some include: mow someone's lawn, visit a nursing home, pay for someone's lunch or dinner, donate to families in need or take flowers to someone in the hospital.

The number of retweets and responses are skyrocketing.
