(1080 KRLD) - This week, Equifax reached a deal with the Federal Trade Commission to pay a settlement of up to $700 million.
This is from that breach that hit 175 million Equifax customers two years ago.
One of the questions that a lot of those customers had: how do we get a piece of that settlement. There's a way.
The FTC put up a claim page on its website, where you can find out if the Equifax breach affected you. Put in your name and last six numbers of your Social Security number. If you're on the list, you could be entitled to about $125.
