FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A major traffic change coming to the westbound 820 North Loop.
"Weather permitting, on Saturday night at 9:00, we will close the current Loop exit from westbound 820 to Mark IV Pkwy.," says Tommy Williamson, a spokesman for the North Tarrant Express project. "Traffic will be redirected to the next exit, at FM 156/Blue Mound Rd."
A new exit ramp is being constructed to replace the current one.
"This is part of additional improvements to the North Tarrant Express project," says Williamson. "So we want to make the access in that area a little bit better by removing those jughandles and replacing them with new ramps."
No timeline for the exit's reopening has been established yet.
