HUNT COUNTY (1080 KRLD) - Firefighters responded to a fire at the Caddo Mills Airport in Hunt County early Wednesday afternoon.
The fire started at about 12:30 p.m. Caddo Mills Municipal Airport located on Farm-to-Market 1565, according to a spokesman with the Hunt County Emergency Management office.
The fire started in a building at the airport and sparked a chain reaction of explosions.
Crews arrived on the scene and were able to put out the flames.
Students at one elementary school in the area have been moved to the high school as a precaution.
Due to a fire located at Caddo Mills Municipal Airport, Caddo Mills ISD took precautionary measures for the safety and security of Griffis Elementary students. Students, faculty and staff were relocated to Caddo Mills High School.
