FEMA teams are going door to door in parts of Texas.

Those who live in areas affected by Tropical Storm Imelda may get a knock on the door from FEMA workers as they try to help people dealing with property loss.

FEMA spokesperson Lenisha Smith says, "FEMA will always show identification and we will never ask to go inside your home. We will never ask for money."

She says team members wear blue FEMA shirts. The FEMA teams are going to six counties.

These include: Chambers, Harris, Jefferson, Liberty, Montgomery and Orange counties.
