HALTOM CITY (1080 KRLD) - An early morning fire causes significant damage to a strip center in Haltom City.
The fire broke out at around 8:30 this morning in the rear of a meat market on Denton Highway.
Haltom City Assistant Fire Chief Fred Knapp says the fire caused a portion of the roof to collapse.
The meat market is flanked by a dialysis center and a nutrition center. While neither sustained any fire damage, they did sustain heat and smoke damage.
Everyone inside the building got out safely, and no one was injured.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
