DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The flu may be worse in North Texas this season.

Dallas County Department of Health and Human Services is putting out the warning ahead of Thanksgiving.

Health Director Philip Huang says ten percent of flu tests are coming back positive. Last year, Dallas County did not hit ten percent until the third week of December.

And it's bad news for holiday travellers. Being cooped up in a plane, train or car with an infected person is a good way to get infected.
