Former Irving Mayor Van Duyne Wins GOP Primary In US House District 24

IRVING (1080 KRLD) - Former Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne has easily won her primary to run for Congress in US House District 24.

Incumbent Republican Kenny Marchant did not seek re-election.


Van Duyne had President Trump's endorsement and won easily with 67 percent of the GOP vote. 

The Democratic primary led to a runoff between Kim Olson and Candace Valenzuela. Olson claimed 40 percent of the Democratic vote.
