TEXAS (1080 KRLD)- Prosecutors say Anita Gail Moody pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud and arson. She was the President of Enloe State Bank in Cooper, Texas.
In 2019, there was a fire at the bank and it turned out to be arson. Investigators say Moody eventually admitted to setting the fire to cover up her false loans.
They say she used the money to help her boyfriend's business and other businesses to the tune of around $11 million dollars.
She has to pay back the money and serve time in federal prison.
