FORNEY (1080 KRLD) - Police in Forney are offering a service to families who want to prevent their packages from being stolen by "porch pirates" during the holiday season.
Forney residents can have their packages delivered to the Forney Police Department headquarters.
A Forney Police department representative will accept package deliveries. Residents will need to provide identification and proof of order or a shipping receipt to claim the package.
The Police Department's headquarters will be open 8:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday and 8:00am until 12:00noon on Saturdays.
The service is free to Forney residents and will run through December 22nd.
