FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - An inmate has died from Coronavirus at the federal prison hospital in Fort Worth.
Arnoldo Almeida was doing 15 years for drug trafficking. He tested positive for the virus ten days ago and was placed in isolation.
On Saturday, as his condition deteriorated, he was placed on a ventilator. But yesterday, he died.
Almeida is one of 56 inmates at the prison hospital to have tested positive for the Coronavirus, as has one employee.
