FORT WROTH (1080 KRLD) - The man gunned down in Fort Worth late Wednesday has now been identified but detectives are not saying much about who shot him - or why.
The body of a 30-year-old man was just found just before midnight Wednesday on the sidewalk at an apartment complex near I-30 and Loop 820.
Jimmie Lee Griffin was already dead when police arrived. He didn't live at that complex.
In fact, his home is almost eight miles away so detectives can't say what he was doing there or who would want to shoot him.
