FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A Fort Worth woman has died after being pulled from her burning home last night.

Just before 6:30 p.m. firefighters were sent to an east Fort Worth home on Castaneda Circle near West Division and Cooks Lane.

The fire had a big head start and flames were already through the roof when they arrived.

Paula Hopkins was trapped inside and firefighters pulled her out.

She was quickly treated at the scene until she could be taken to Harris in critical condition. But she died two hours later. She was 68.
