DALLAS (KRLD) - A Frisco father died while trying to save two of his kids. Police say 44-year-old Bryce Kirby drowned after falling into a lake while trying to rescue his 4-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter.
The kids made it back to the canoe and are in the hospital being treated for hypothermia.
Kirby was underwater for several minutes before he was rescued and doctors were unable to resuscitate him.
