A George Floyd demonstration in Bryan-College Station was attended by Floyd's adult son.
George Floyd, who was raised in Houston, is the man who died in Minneapolis police custody last week igniting violent confrontations across the country.
Yesterday's Bryan march, though, was peaceful as more than 100 people demonstrated to raise awareness of minority relations with police.
Among the marchers, Quincy Mason Floyd said he had not seen his father since he was a small child.
But the younger Floyd says his "heart was really touched" by the outpouring of love for his father.
