Police say they found Reynolds between the apartment buildings with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died.

One suspect-- a minor-- is also in custody. Lieutenant Chris Cook with the Arlington PD says the suspect knew Reynolds, who was likely targeted because he broke up a fight earlier this week. Surveillance footage at the apartment complex shows the suspect shoot Reynolds.

"I can't imagine what the victim's family is going through," Cook said. "And even the suspect's family, to have to learn that their child was involved in this heinous act of violence that claimed the life of an Arlington High School student."

Reynolds' family says the teen was a big soccer player and was very close with his mom. His cousins are working to put together a benefit for Reynolds, and students are planning a vigil that will occur tonight at 6 p.m. in the west parking lot at Arlington High School.

This morning, a GoFundMe page for the family generated almost $3,000 in two hours. You can donate online here
