DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A judge has released the city of Dallas from the civil suit filed by the family Botham Jean, the man killed by off-duty Dallas police officer Amber Guyger.
The family accuses the city of negligence in police training. But city lawyers claim there's no evidence of that and a federal judge says the same.
Guyger is now serving ten years for the murder and is now the only defendant in the family's wrongful death civil case.
