DALLAS (KRLD) - The 911 call Amber Guyger made after shooting and killing a man inside his own apartment was played for the jury inside the Crowley Courthouse on Tuesday morning.
The call gave the jury in her murder trial a sense of the chaos that happened as police and firefighters tried to save Botham Jean's life.
Guyger admitted to killing Jean in his apartment on September 6, 2018. She said she thought she was going into her apartment after her shift but entered his by mistake and fired her weapon after she thought Jean was an intruder.
Guyger was initially charged with manslaughter. The charge was later changed to murder. Guyger has pleaded not guilty.
