FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Lockheed's Fort Worth plant has arranged to have about 2,500 employees work shorter hours because of supply delays blamed on the Coronavirus outbreak.
The company and the union representing machinists and other aerospace workers have agreed to what they call a temporary, alternate work schedule on the F-35 fighter production line.
The Star-Telegram reports that Lockheed will reevaluate how this is working every three weeks, or so, hoping to be back to full speed by Labor Day
