DALLAS (KRLD) - Is Mickey Mouse spying on us? Visitors to Disney Parks are giving up a lot of their personal information to Disney, all in the name of efficiency. But some are saying that data mining isn't something that we sign up for when we go on vacation to the Magic Kingdom.

It all comes from a band you wear to get into Disney parks. That Magic Band let you swipe into rides, buy things at Disney stores, or even swipe into your hotel room. But, it also gives Disney access to you and data about you

Austin Carr from Bloomberg says the Magic Band can help Disney figure out how people are flowing around the park and into the stores, to cut down on the waiting times. He says Disney has been doing this for up to 7 years. It's just back in the news, because of recent issues with data mining with Facebook or Google.

Disney says the Magic Band has cut those wait times at Disney parks and stores by 30 percent.
