DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas police detained a man with a gun near President Trump's rally outside the American Airlines Center Thursday evening.
Police who were working the rally were called to a report of someone wearing body armor.
Dallas police say the officers found the man outside the American Airlines Center. He was wearing a helmet, backpack and bulletproof vest.
Police restrained him using zip ties and walked him away from the arena. Police say he was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
No one was hurt.
Police have not said whether he was a Trump protester or a Trump supporter.
