Man Faces Murder Charge After Woman, Dog Found Dead At Richland Hills Home

RICHLAND HILLS (1080 KRLD) - A 27-year-old  man is behind bars this morning charged with the murder of 73-year-old  Paula Kennemer.

Her body was discovered Saturday night at  her home on Matthews Drive, near Rosebud Park.

A neighbor called police after finding Kennemer's dog dead on the front porch.  There is no word yet on how Kennemer died.

Police arrested Stephan Tufts yesterday morning. 

Investigators say he is a known roommate of the Kennemer's.

There's no word yet on a motive for the killing and it's unclear if more arrests are expected.

Police say they are still investigating.
