DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The man who gunned down a US Postal Service driver in Dallas is going to prison for a long time.

Yesterday, Donnie Ferrell was sentenced to 30 years in the death of Tony Mosby who was shot while driving on I-30 near the Dallas main post office last year.

Prosecutors told the jury Ferrell did it to "show off in front of his girlfriend" who was driving the SUV that cut off Mosby's USPS big rig.

The girlfriend, Channelle Tashawna Walker, was indicted on a federal charge of being an accessory by helping Ferrell evade arrest. She's waiting for her trial.
