DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A man is in the hospital after getting hit by a DART train in south Oak Cliff last night.
About 11 p.m. a train struck the man near the VA Hospital.
Trapped under the train, the man had to wait for Dallas Fire-Rescue to arrive with the tools needed to extricate him. He was taken to the hospital, but no condition has been released.
That stretch of DART track was closed for the investigation but re-opened early this morning.
