AUSTIN (1080 KRLD) - Governor Greg Abbot announced today that Lewisville will be the site of a new manufacturing facility by Ericsson Inc.
The 5G radio "Factory of the Future" will make 5G Advanced Antenna System Radio Module products. It's expected to create more than 400 new jobs and $134,000,000 in capital investment.
Lewisville Mayor Rudy Durham said the city is honored and looks forward to the partnership.
"Ericsson has consistently delivered innovative and sustainable products and services," Durham said. "Innovation and sustainability are also key priorities for the Lewisville community and our vision for the future."
