No injuries have been reported in a big rig crash that closed a stretch of Highway 75 in McKinney last night.

About 10:30 p.m. a big rig jack-knifed on the south-bound side of 75 near Virginia Parkway.

The trailer rolled on its side and split open, strewing a flood of its cargo across the south-bound lanes.

The freeway remained closed most of the night, reopening just before 5 a.m.

The rig crashed in a driving rain but investigators are not confirming whether that had anything to do with it.
