Rowlett (1080 KRLD) - Dallas Fire Rescue, searched Lake Ray Hubbard Saturday morning, after recieving a report that a kayak carrying a man and a woman overturned. At around 2p DFR recovered the body of a man. Authorities have not yet identified him.
A 911 caller said the kayak capsized at Windsurf Bay Park, off Locust Grove Road at 10:48 Saturday morning. A Dallas Fire Rescue spokeman says the woman resurfaced and was rescued by a good Samaritan in a boat. Reportedly they were prepping for a race when their kayak capsized. Officials also say the two weren't wearing life vests.
