More North Texas firefighters are leaving today for the California fire zones.
A team from McKinney Fire Department has already been in California for several weeks.
Now, a new team is flying out to relieve their colleagues. A Dallas team of more than a dozen firefighters will be driving out with three pieces of fire apparatus.
Other North Texas cities sending delegations include Fort Worth, Allen, Flower Mound and Arlington.
