Dallas County Health and Human Services is reporting three more human West Nile virus cases as of Thursday, bringing Dallas County's total number of cases in 2020 to four.
All three cases came from North Dallas residents.
The second patient is a 56-year-old resident of Dallas and has been diagnosed with West Nile Fever.
The third and fourth patients are 72 and 83-year-old residents of Dallas. Both have been diagnosed with West Nile Neuroinvasive Disease.
Ground spraying this week is scheduled in Dallas, Cockrell Hill, Duncanville, Lancaster, and Seagoville.
The first Dallas County case of the year, reported on Aug. 6, was in Highland Park.
Collin County reported Wednesday that its first human case of West Nile virus in 2020 is a Plano resident.
