FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A field hospital has been set up in a recreational yard at the Federal Medical Center Fort Worth, the prison where nearly 450 inmates have come down with the Coronavirus.
The Federal Medical Center is designed to treat the sickest, most elderly inmates in the federal prison system. But with Coronavirus racing through the population, the families of the sick inmates are worried they won't get the specialized treatment they need.
Several relatives marched peacefully outside FMC yesterday carrying signs with slogans like 'Prison Lives Matter' and 'We Want Answers.'
