It's called the McDonald's on the Philippines...and it's coming to North Texas.
Jollibee's opens tomorrow in Plano offering up it's signature dish Chickenjoy. It's fried chicken served with a variety of sides like mashed pototoes or fries.
You could also try Jollibee's famous spaghetti, not you usual pasta dish, this spaghetti is served up with a sweet banana ketchup and topped with slices of hot dogs and cheese.
If you're an adventurous eater you might want to try halo-halo for desert, a Filipino favorite made with three kinds of beans, gelatin, shaved ice, ice cream and flan.
The late Anthony Bourdain once said this combination of ingredients makes no sense...but he called the dessert 'Oddly beautiful."
A single meal with sides costs on average about 7 bucks. For no, only drive thru or pick up orders will be available.
