DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Families squeezed financially by the coronavirus pandemic can get a little help Thursday morning.
The North Texas Food Bank is holding a mobile food pantry Thursday at Dallas' Fair Park.
Residents in need can drive through and pick up essential food items until noon, or until supplies run out.
The pickup locations in Fair Park are in lots 5A and 6A, between Robert B. Cullum Blvd. and 2nd Ave. A simple income verification form is required.
NTFB CEO Trisha Cunningham talked about the latest mobile food pantry on the KRLD Morning News.
The National Guard keeps the line moving quick at the mobile food pantry at Fair Park. They tell you to open your trunk farther back. It's about 15 seconds from the time they take a picture of your form to when they load the box of food into your car. pic.twitter.com/G0eMQMCcPm— Alan Scaia (@scaia) April 16, 2020
