DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - North Texas hospital executives tell Dallas County officials they can handle all Coronvirus patients even during what many expect will be a big surge before the end of the month.

Last night, the Dallas Morning News obtained and published a letter from the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council to Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins. The letter says the Council believes "the hospitals in Dallas County will have the capacity, on their existing campuses, to handle the expected COVID-19 volumes."

This seems to indicate the planned pop-up hospital at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center will not be needed after all.
