FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Fake guns got a pair of bank robbers real time in federal prison.

Cedric Burns, 41, was sentenced to 20 years in prison; and Marcello Shofner, 37, got 15 years behind bars.

Both pleaded guilty to bank robbery back in April.

The two robbed the Texas Trust Credit Union in Hurst, pointing replica guns at employees and demanding more than $100,000 from the vault.

Their getaway driver, Antranette Canady, 46, then led police on a high-speed chase that ended at a dead-end street in Oak Cliff.

Canady also pleaded guilty to bank robbery and will be sentenced next month.
