One of the areas of Dallas County hit hardest by the coronavirus is getting free testing over the next five days.
Paul Quinn College will host a testing blitz that will feature free COVID 19 tests, free masks and free food.
"We believe very, very deeply, that the only way we are all going to get through this is to band together, use common sense, trust the science and work together" said Dr. Michael Sorrell, Paul Quinn College President.
The free testing runs 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday through Wednesday. They will give away 400 masks and can test up to 800 people per day over the five days. Those wishing to get free food need to be at the college between 10:00 and noon.
"We've tested a little over 3,000 people thus far. We've got this down to where people don't stand in long lines. You come in, you are treated well, you are tested and go about the rest of your day." said Sorrell.
