Former Dallas-area Congressman Pete Sessions, who lost his seat to Colin Alred two years ago, has won his runoff for the GOP nomination in the Waco-area 17th Congressional district.
Sessions bested Renee Swann by eight points.
He'll meet Democrat Rick Kennedy in the general election in the Fall.
