The Houston Port Authority says someone who worked at both the Barbours Cut and Bayport container terminals tested positive for COVID-19.
Both public terminals are closed and the operations are temporarily suspended. Other public facilities are still open.
The Houston Ship Channel and the over 200 private terminals are still up and running.
The Port Houston says it's working health agencies while an investigation is underway.
