IRVING (1080 KRLD) - A couple of newylweds from Irving remain stuck in the middle of the coronavirus outbreak.
Honeymooners Rachel and Tyler Torres are among four thousand people marooned on a cruise ship off the coast of Japan.
They are in forced quarantine after 135 passengers aboard tested positive for the coronavirus.
The quarantine is scheduled to be lifted on February 19th and the couple tell NBC 5 they have been assured by the U.S. embassy they will be removed from the ship as soon as possible.
Being true Texans, they joke they would love to see an air-drop of Whataburgers and Dr Pepper.
For now, though, they say the ship's crew has been taking very good care of them.
