DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A precision flying team from the Royal Air Force in the United Kingdom is visiting north Texas this week as part of a tour across the United States and Canada.

The Red Arrows are holding a series of ground engagements to promote trade and investment between the U.S. and the United Kingdom."A key aim of the tour is to inspire people through safe, dynamic and visually-exciting shows. However, we have also planned dozens of ground events, where we hope to meet countless individuals and showcase the importance of science, technology, engineering and maths - the STEM subjects - in our work," said Wing Commander Keith. The group flew its bright red Hawk T-1 jets to Houston on Wednesday. They do not have any public public displays planned in north Texas, but will have a series of ground displays, business and community meetings while they are here.

Their tour will also take them to Denver, Portland and Seattle this month.
