Second Arrest Made In Deep Ellum Murder Of A Teenager

A second man is now under arrest in last month's murder of a teenager in Deep Ellum.

On the night of August 28th, 15-year-old Ty'Len Bell was out with friends on Elm Street near North Crowder when two men walked past them and opened fire, killing Bell and wounding four others.

One of the survivors was able to name Shamar Vershawn Anderson as one of the gunmen and he was arrested two days later.

Police have been looking for the other shooter and have now accused a Mesquite man named Javari Stripling.

Both Stripling and Anderson are up on a capital murder charge.
