
TEXAS (KRLD 1080)- Home security company ADT is alerting more than 200 of its customers In North Texas about a former employee who had unauthorized access to their security systems for years.
According to ADT, a Dallas-area technician added his personal email address to customers accounts during service calls.
That gave him varying levels of access to their systems, including the video streams of security cameras.
The employee did not have access to financial information or Social Security numbers, according to the Morning News.
The employee has been fired. Police have been notified but it's unclear at this point if that fired employee has been charged.
