DALLAS (NBC DFW) - The westbound lanes of Interstate 635 were closed for a short while Friday night in Las Colinas after a tractor-trailer flipped onto its side during turbulent weather.
The incident took place on 635 just west of the President George Bush Turnpike.
Irving police said the truck was blown over by strong winds as a storm system moved through the area.
The driver was trapped inside the cab, police said but was not hurt. The Irving Fire Department was eventually able to remove the cab's windshield and free the man.
