FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A woman's in the hospital after being run over in Fort Worth while skateboarding on a freeway service road.
Just past 9:00 p.m. last night, a man called 911 to say his girlfriend was riding her skateboard on east-bound service road of I-20 near Business 287, closer to the Fort Worth - Kennedale line.
While the woman lay critically injured, the driver just kept on going and, so far, there's been no description of the vehicle.
The woman was rushed to a local hospital, said to be in critical condition this morning.
Police have not said why the woman was riding her skateboard in a lane of traffic.
